Newkirk Takedown headed for wrestling state

NEWKIRK — The Newkirk Takedown Club welcomed the Oklahoma Kids Wrestling Association (OKWA) regionals on Saturday, Feb. 11, and a number of Newkirk competitors will now compete in state competitions this weekend, Feb. 17 – 18 in Tulsa.

Boys 6U

Greyson Summitt and Stetson Manuel, 37 pounds; Maddox Thompson, 43 pounds; Bronson Marlar and Kyson Copelin, 46 pounds; and Lucas Weaver, 55 pounds

Girls 6U

Gracelynn Butler, 43 pounds

Boys 8U

Keenan McCammon – 52 pounds; Emmett Marr and Gradon Marlar, 55 pounds; and Tucker Morton, 75 pounds

Boys 10U

Joel Reinart, 67 pounds; Aceyn Marr, 70; Elijah Whitebird, 110 pounds; and Jacob Brown, heavyweight

Takota Morton, 70 pounds and Keira Horton, 95 pounds
