Go-Getter 4-H members win big at Tulsa State Fair

TULSA, Okla. — FFA and 4-H students from across the state gathered in Tulsa Sept. 29 – Oct. 9 for the annual Tulsa State Fair, and many Newkirk Go-Getters 4-H members came home with ribbons recognizing their creative efforts.

Cashlynn Smith– Acrylic – Sunflower, eighth place

Cole Vap– Five Jalapenos, ninth place

Emy Packard– Lady Bug Ceramic, 10thplace

Hannah Cross– Computer-Generated Hand-Drawn World Map, first place; Bathroom Bacteria Battle, first place; 4-H Workshop Fun Flyer, second place
