Fish Fry and Cornhole Tournament set for July 31

NEWKIRK — The annual Fish Fry and Cornhole Tournament is fast approaching, and is scheduled to be held Saturday, July 31 at the Newkirk Country Club, 3701 E. Dry Road.

The Cornhole Tournament is limited to the first 32 teams that register. The fee is $30 if registered by July 30, and $40 the day of the event.

Check-in and registration will be 2:30 – 3:30 p.m., and the Tournament starts at 4. Participants can use their own bags. There will be a Best of 3 on the winners side.

Prizes are $200 for first place, $100 for second place and $50 for third place.

There will be a Corn Hole “Game Change” bag raffle, and every entrant gets a ticket for the raffle.

The Fish Fry begins at 6 and is open to the public. There is a suggested donation of $10 a plate.
