FFA members volunteer at Special Olympics

News Release
The Newkirk FFA Chapter recently traveled to Stillwater to volunteer at the Special Olympics Oklahoma basketball event, where members spent the day helping athletes, cheering on teams, and making meaningful connections with participants from across the state.
FFA members assisted with scorekeeping, organizing games, helping athletes get to the correct courts, and encouraging players throughout the competition. Students said the experience was both rewarding and inspiring as they watched athletes compete with determination and sportsmanship.
Chapter members worked closely with coaches, volunteers, and event staff to help the basketball tournament run smoothly.
The following FFA members volunteered at the event: Piper Brandon, Kinley Brown, Kaylee Cobb, Jack Dobson, Jarrett Dobson, Kolten Dowler, Huck Grace, Jessica Hobaugh, Adleigh Ingram, Brant Kirchner, Raylynn Kubik, Levi Kubik, Trenton Morton, Chloe Randol, Joel Reinart, Shafer Shanks, Cashlynn Smith, Dylan Tattershall, and Cole Vap.
The Newkirk FFA Chapter hopes to continue participating in service opportunities like the Special Olympics in the future and looks forward to supporting more events across Oklahoma.
