Methodist Nativity Program

First United Methodist Church is finishing preparations for a unique event, “A Special Place for You,” a live Nativity program to be held at the church, Seventh and Walnut, from 6 – 7:30 p.m. Dec. 23 – 24. The event is produced by church families, and depicts the angel Gabriel approaching Joseph and Mary, angels appearing to the shepherd and trek to Bethlehem and the manger scene, which also includes local livestock like cattle, horses, goats and chickens. The event will also feature a special Communion service, and all will be viewed from the comfort of everyone’s vehicles. For more information, contact FUMC at (580) 362-2929.
