Newkirk woman killed in crash

A car accident northwest of Newkirk claimed the life of Eugenia L. Sester, 47, of Newkirk, on May 7. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol released a report that states Sester was traveling west on Earth Road when she approached the intersection with Waverly Road.
The report states that a vehicle driven by Jason N. Roberts, 34, Abilene, Texas, was traveling south on Waverly when he was approaching the intersection. Both vehicles collided at the intersection.
Sester was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the OHP, and was not wearing a seatbelt. Roberts was reported to be not injured.
