Safety Center Groundbreaking

A special groundbreaking was held for the upcoming Public Safety Center Tuesday morning, July 26 after 10 a.m. Including in the ground breaking were representatives of the city of Newkirk, including city commission and police and fire departments. Representatives of Rick Scott Construction and Kerr 3 Architects also participated. Once finished, the Public Safety Center will house both the fire and police departments in a new state-of-the-art facility, and will allow the city to operate in case of emergency.
