Summer Reading Program

Several Newkirk youth gathered at the Newkirk Public Library Monday morning, July 17 for the weekly Summer Reading Program. After hearing “Good People Everywhere,” by Lynea Gillen and “Tomorrow I’ll be Kind,” by Jessica Hische the children decorated their door knob hangers with stars and lettering. The event is being held each Monday through Aug. 14.
