Pow Wow

Newkirk Public Schools students received an educational and cultural experience Tuesday morning, Nov. 15 when several Native dancers performed a pow wow for the students. The dances included the fancy dance, stomp dance and round dance, and also discussions on their regalia and other fascinating aspects of the pow wows. Later, the student also had a chance to perform, as well.
