4-H Workshop

Courtesy Photo for The Newkirk Herald Journal

Earlier in July students in third through seventh grades gathered for a 4-H workshop. The topics included a Main Street Mystery, MyPlate Munchable Lunch and Let’s Get Crafty! Attendees completed a quest downtown, made their own lunch with a balance and variety of foods and completed crafts to exhibit at the Kay County Free . Shown in the photo are participants Tony Reinhart and Shafer Shanks completing a mood board for a downtown building with leaders Hannah Cross, Marianna Horinek and Emma Smith. The other leader was Kristyn Flanery (not pictured).
