Concerned citizens filled the Senior Center Friday, April 30 for Fried Chicken Friday, and also meet Newkirk’s new mayor Dereck Cassady, who briefly spoke on his plans for the next few years, which included upgrades to the community’s infrastructure, such as renovation of the water treatment plant.
