Everett Brazil, III/The Newkirk Herald Journal The Newkirk Fire Department was honored by the Oklahoma State Firefighters Association (OSFFA) for 105 years of membership at their annual convention, held June 4-8 in Ponca City. The OSFFA assists all departments in the state in a variety of causes, including pensions, lobbying and death benefits to families of fallen firefighters.
