Twila Balzer
Twila Ann Balzer, 87, of Newkirk, passed to eternal rest January 24, 2015 in Arkansas City, Kansas.
 A celebration of her life was held Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, at the First Christian Church, Newkirk.  Burial followed in the Newkirk Cemetery.
  The family suggests contributions to the First Christian Church in Newkirk and may be forwarded to Bank of Oklahoma of Newkirk or Rindt-Erdman

Elaine Fulton
Elaine was born to Clyde William and Alfaratta (Von Stein) Harp March 20, 1916 in Peckham, Oklahoma.
  Memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 7, at 10 a.m. visit with family and friends, 11 a.m. memorial service, noon lunch at First Presbyterian Church, Blackwell.  A private burial will be held at a later date. Memorials to First Presbyterian Church, Blackwell or Peckham Christian Church. 

Gilbert Mills
Gilbert Wayne Mills, 76 of Arkansas City, KS passed away Monday, January 26, 2015, at the Kansas Veteran’s Home in Winfield. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2015, at the Assembly of God Church. Pastor James Newman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hope Cemetery. Friends may greet the family 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home.
  In lieu of flowers the family asks contributions be made to the Assembly of God Church, Arkansas City.

Robert McWhorter
Robert Eugene McWhorter, Jr., longtime Ponca City resident, died Monday, Jan. 19, 2015 in the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, Coffeyville, Kan. He was 63.
  Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 23 in the Newkirk Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Metzger, minister of the First Christian Church of Ponca City officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Miller-Stahl Funeral Service.

Merletta Jones
  Merletta Kay Jones, longtime Newkirk resident, died Friday afternoon, Jan. 23, 2015 in
 the Wichita Specialty Hospital. She was 63.
  An education fund has been established for Kay’s grandchildren. Memorial contributions many be made in her name through Eastman National Bank, Box 468, Newkirk 74647-0468.
